Pet Refuge is a dedicated nonprofit animal shelter committed to providing compassionate care and finding loving forever homes for cats, dogs, and other animals in need. Our mission centers on combating pet overpopulation through responsible adoption and fostering programs. We operate with a focus on health testing, vaccinations, and spaying/neutering procedures to ensure the well-being of all our residents. We strive to create a supportive environment where every animal can thrive, offering specialized care for animals with special needs while actively seeking permanent homes for those who require additional assistance. Our shelter is located at 4626 South Burnett Drive in South Bend, Indiana, and we welcome visitors to explore our facilities and learn more about our programs. We offer a range of adoption opportunities, fostering programs, and volunteer positions to contribute to our mission. We are dedicated to partnering with the community to reduce pet overpopulation and promote responsible animal ownership.
