Hunting Dog Training in Boise, ID – TK Hot Kennels At TK Hot Kennels, we specialize in training dogs of all breeds and ages in bird, duck, waterfowl, pheasant, and shed antler hunting specialties. Jim Closson, our head trainer, has over 35 years of professional dog training experience. He’s a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals, graduate of the prestigous Michael Ellis School of Dog Trainers, and holds several dog training certifications. Jim’s daughter, Britta, is the proud owner and trainer of the famous Boise State tee fetching Labrador, Kohl. We focus on the scientifically proven Reward Based Training Methods as opposed to the traditional Force Based methods. Reward based training will produce a confident and happy dog with a strong desire to please its owner. Our Hunting Dog Programs follow the rules and regulations set in place by the AKC for Junior, Senior, and Master Hunter.
