Wellness Care Routine checkups are your pet’s best line of defense against diseases and other conditions. We emphasize proactive, preventative medicine to keep your pets healthy. Surgery and Dentistry We offer surgical and dental care for your pets including spay and neuter, Lumpectomy, Dental cleaning and extractions, C-sections, Cystotomy and exploratory , splenectomy and many more. Internal Medicine If your pet is sick and needs diagnostics and treatment or if she/he suffers from a chronic condition, such as diabetes, hypothyroidism or any number of other disorders, our caring doctors will provide the proper ongoing treatment. House Calls When life takes over and your busy schedule prevents you from visiting our clinic, we conveniently offer house calls to our clients Diagnostics We have an in-house lab. Our advanced technology allows us to run a wide range of diagnostic tests and procedures on the same day of your visit. Emergencies Our clinic provides limited emergency exams for any pet in need of urgent care. Meet the Team We are a team of highly-trained doctors, dedicated customer service specialists, and enthusiastic pet people. That’s why we’ve dedicated our lives to animal health, showing furry friends and their owners unmatched kindness, compassion, and care Veterinarian/Owner Dr. Mahshid Ansari,DVM Dr. Mahshid Ansari graduated from the University of Chamran in 2014. She is a familiar face to Hilo pet community after helping their pets for 3 years. Helping pets and their families brings Dr. Ansari the most joy. As a veterinarian, she feels it is her duty to learn to speak her patients’ language, since pets cannot speak ours. Outside of helping pets, Dr. Ansari enjoys spending time with her husband Amir and her daugher Ayleen and their dog Bella and she loves swimming, reading, and hiking. Practice Manager Jennifer Palacio has 25 years of veterinary hospital experience and came to Big island in 2019. Since then she has been working in veterinary clinics as a friendly and helpful client service representative. She has a passion to help the animals on the island by educating and assisting their pet parents in any way she can. Jennifer is the proud owner of 3 energetic dogs and 2 loving cats.
