Winding Lane Kennels & Stables, LLC offers a comprehensive boarding facility dedicated to providing exceptional care and comfort for dogs and cats. Nestled on 55 acres off Silverbluff Road in Aiken, South Carolina, our property boasts a warm and inviting environment designed to meet the unique needs of each animal. We pride ourselves on a personalized approach, recognizing that every pet is an individual with distinct requirements. Our dedicated team – led by Kelli Hofstetter – focuses on providing specialized care, including services for shut-down, stranger-selective, and feral dogs, alongside gentle handling techniques. Our facility caters to all breeds and sizes, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for both canine and feline guests. We understand the importance of a comfortable and secure stay, offering heated and air-conditioned units with consistent temperatures between 64-66 degrees in winter and 65-67 degrees in summer. Daily music is played at a moderate volume, creating a relaxing ambiance, and outdoor spaces are meticulously maintained with six to eight foot fencing surrounding the courtyard area, ensuring ample exercise opportunities for our animals. To ensure the safety and well-being of your beloved companion, we maintain strict vaccination protocols, including rabies, parvovirus/distemper, and bordatella vaccinations. We also require flea/tick prevention measures, administered upon initial arrival. Pet owners are responsible for providing bedding, food, toys, and treats, and our small staff of 1-4 individuals is committed to minimizing stress during their stay through focused attention and individualized care. Winding Lane Kennels & Stables is more than just a boarding facility; we're a compassionate organization dedicated to supporting animal rescue efforts. We actively partner with Canine Hospice Animal Rescue, founded by Angela Wilson in 2020, providing a vital service for animals facing end-of-life care. We are committed to responsible pet ownership and believe that every animal deserves a loving home.
