Shawnee Kennels Dog Boarding and Day Care Facility is a family-owned business dedicated to providing safe, reliable, and comfortable care for your beloved pets. Situated in Milford, Delaware, we offer a secure environment with radiant floor heat, central air conditioning, and ample space both indoors and outdoors. Our facility is equipped with modern amenities including emergency backup generators and sealed isolation panels ensuring the well-being of every animal. We are committed to providing exceptional service and fostering a positive experience for your furry companions while you’re away. Our team at Shawnee Kennels consists of experienced professionals, including Shirley Miller, Cynthia M. Wooten, Christine Beebe Miller, Shelby Johnsen, Butch & Bonnie Eliott, and our dedicated staff. We prioritize the health and happiness of every animal in our care, adhering to strict hygiene protocols and providing personalized attention. We are fully licensed and insured, and we welcome appointments with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere for your pet's comfort and enjoyment. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Tuesday through Thursday from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. We are closed on holidays including Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, July 5th, July 4th, July 5th, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, December 26th, and New Year's Eve. We also maintain a strict policy regarding pet vaccinations, requiring proof of recent Bordetella vaccination before boarding.
