About Greater New Haven Cat Project
The Greater New Haven Cat Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of stray, abandoned, and feral cats within the Greater New Haven area of Connecticut. Since 1996, GNHCP has provided essential spay/neuter and veterinary assistance to over 13,440 feral and stray cats in the region, making a significant impact on animal welfare. GNHCP’s mission centers around the practice of trap-neuter-return (TNR), education, fostering, and responsible pet ownership, all aimed at ending suffering for these animals. Through dedicated programs like TNR, GNHCP actively works to reduce feral populations and promote the well-being of cats in need.
