Grooming maintains a healthy coat Cleaning and brushing away all that dead skin and buildup will do wonders to your dog’s hygiene and smell. Matted hair left untreated can grow large and pull aggressively on the skin. Reinforce healthy foot structure and posture Nails that grow too long can be uncomfortable for your dog to walk on. Over time, they may change their posture to accommodate longer nails. This will create larger problems if left untreated. Arthritis, bone deformations, and bad posture are just some of the ailments that can occur from leaving your dog’s nails too long. Early detection of issues with ears, skin, teeth and more If you start going to a groomer regularly, they will become familiar with your dog. This will allow them to notice any abnormalities that arise. These could include bumps and lumps that you’ve perhaps missed during a brushing session. Detecting these issues early on is key in stopping the spread of any serious condition. Healthy and properly brushed coats will shed less Regardless of your dog’s breed or hair length, taking your dog to the groomer to get washed and brushed will help with the condition and quality of their coat. Your pet will look and feel amazing after their appointment and you will want to show them off. Our salon uses a variety of shampoos, conditioners and texturizers. If you have a product or a prescription shampoo please bring it with you and I will use it at no extra charge. I do not use any extreme measures to control your pet. I do not give them “medication” to relax them. The only control is the love and patience of our groomers. Boarding I know you don’t love leaving your pet, but sometimes it has to happen. With my boarding program, you can be rest assured that I will step in and shower your pet with love and affection until you get back! I will quickly learn your pet’s daily routine, taking them for walks, administering medications, cleaning them and providing just the right amount of TLC.
